There has been a considerable amount of success for some of Australia's top online poker players in recent times, despite the heavy workload many are being faced with.
According to Asia Pacific Poker, a host of players have cashed in lucrative online competitions, at the same time as they have been appearing in various live poker tournaments.
Even though the calendar is particularly busy at the moment, the likes of Jonathan Karamalikis have been able to pick up big wins on the internet.
Karamalikis is one of Australia's top poker players and he has posted numerous positive results in recent days, including a seventh place in a $200 buy-in event.
Others to have enjoyed success in the recent programme include the likes of Nurlan Boobekov, Tom Grigg, Brendon Rubie, Michael Hawkins and Michael Fadersen.
Their results might suggest the Australian poker industry is currently going through a phase of positivity.
