A host of top players from Australia and the rest of the Asia-Pacific region will be making their way to a prestigious tournament in Melbourne next month.
The World Series of Poker (WSOP) Asia Pacific is on its way to Australia, where it will take up residency at the Crown Melbourne for 11 days.
Poker Asia Pacific has published a guide to the event and noted this will be the first time one of WSOP's highly-prized gold bracelets has been offered on Australian soil.
Such a fact will make poker players from around the world even more determined to create history by triumphing down under.
WSOP Asia Pacific gets underway on April 4th with the $1,100 NLHE Accumulator and runs until April 15th.
The very first poker tournament of WSOP's stay in Melbourne is likely to offer a seven-figure prize pool, so both local players and international stars will be only too aware that the event means business from the off.
