Recent days have been particularly important in the Australian online poker calendar, with several key contests being settled.

Tom Grigg is one of those to have come out of the period particularly well, having picked up a "massive score" on one site, reports Poker Asia Pacific.

However, he is far from the only online poker player to be celebrating, as the likes of Matt Wakeman, Semesa Brown and Andrew Hinrichsen have also recorded significant victories.

With hundreds of thousands of dollars up for grabs in some poker tournaments, it is worth following who is performing well and how they achieved their goals.

Grigg is known to have picked up at least $71,320 for his triumph, which came in a field of 1,269 players.

All of his rivals are said to have hit the rail until only Grigg was left standing, giving him the chance to add to a growing poker CV that contains more than $2.5 million in online winnings.
