The Main Event for the Australia New Zealand Poker Tour (ANZPT) title is well underway, with the players currently fighting it out on Day 1B in the Crown casino.
It was Peter Woodworth who held the chip lead at the end of Day 1A with a stack of 84,025, but he could find himself behind when the players return for Day 2 because, at the time of writing, Jesse McKenzie has a stack of 162,825.
While there is still some way to go as we wait to see who will advance to the next stage from Day 1B, some of the biggest names in the event have already busted.
Indeed, ANZPT Melbourne winner Paul Hockin has bowed out, along with Anthony Aston and Ashley Warner.
But with plenty of players left in the running, ANZPT Perth is shaping up to be a great tournament as players from across the Asia Pacific gather at the felt.
