The home players are falling thick and fast in the Aussie Millions Main Event, with the likes of Joe Hachem, Aaron Lim and Julius Colman all hitting the rail on Day 2.
And now Jonathan Karamilikis has joined them, failing to progress to Day 3 despite a strong start in the Crown Melbourne.
Karamilikis enjoyed a good fun of form toward the end 2012 and will have been hoping to start 2013 in much the same vein, but it seems that he'll have to try his hand in another event if he wants to get an early victory under his belt.
However, Australian poker fans need not fret, as James Obst will carry Aussie hopes when the 36 remaining players return for Day 3 - and, what's more, he'll be doing it with the chip lead.
With Obst looking in a commanding position, there could yet be an Australian winner crowned in this year's Aussie Millions Main Event.
