Following the news that Australian poker stars Joe Hachem and Julius Colman had gone bust during Day 2 of the Aussie Millions Main Event, one of their compatriots has now joined them in the form of Aaron Lim.
Despite having looked in a comfortable position, Lim failed to hold on to his chips as the day progressed, and at the time of writing 69 players remain in the hunt for the first prize.
The good news is that they include Jonathan Karamilikis, who enjoyed a good year in 2012 and is looking to get 2013 off to a flying start with victory in Melbourne.
And even better is that Australia's James Obst is still the leader in chips as he continues to compile a healthy stack ahead of Day 3.
With the top 64 players guaranteed some form of payout, the money bubble is fast approaching, and that will surely be weighing on the minds of the remaining competitors.
