The final opening flight for the Aussie Millions Main Event is underway

The third and final opening flight of the Aussie Million Main Event is underway, and some of the biggest names from the world of poker have taken to the felt in pursuit of the prestigious title.

Perhaps most notable among them is that of Australian poker legend Joe Hachem, who is looking to delight home fans by securing victory in the Crown Melbourne.

Hachem is joined at the tables by the likes of America's Phil Ivey and Canada's Mike Watson, while Sam Trickett is also going for glory after failing to make the final table in the $100,000 Challenge earlier in the week.

Aussie cricket legend Shane Warne was another of the stars who were present at the felt, although he has already busted meaning that he won't be returning for Day 2.

With more than 250 players entering the third flight, this year's Main Event is certainly going to be one of the greatest.
