The Aussie Millions is continuing to draw some of the biggest names from the world of poker, with the likes of Jason Mercier and John Juanda entering the $100,000 Challenge over the weekend.
Britain's Sam Trickett, who won the event in 2011, was also among the 22 entrants who were hoping to get their hands on the title as the players gathered at the tables in the Crown Melbourne.
Another notable figure at the felt was Dan Shak - the winner in 2010 - but he bowed out in fourth this time around.
It was Andrew Robl who eventually took first place, making it the second consecutive year that an American has won the event following Dan Smith's triumph in 2012.
Robl picked up $1,000,000 for his efforts, as well as a prestigious Aussie Millions gold ring - a just reward for overcoming such an experienced field on his way to the top prize.
