Australian poker fans will be glued to the events currently taking place at the Crown Melbourne, with the Aussie Millions continuing to deliver the goods when it comes to world class card-playing action.
And as Poker Asia Pacific reports, the third event of this year's tournament - a $1,100 No Limit Hold'em Shootout - has been taken down by Michael Guttman, who picks up $44,100 in prize money and a prestigious Aussie Millions gold ring for his efforts.
The 21 table winners from Day 1 came to the felt hoping to bag the title, and Peter Evans held the chip lead when the field had been whittled down to nine players.
But Evans was unable to make his advantage count, eventually settling for seventh place and a $10,500 pay day as Guttman went on to take control.
With the third event having come to an end, the good news is that there are plenty still to come in this year's instalment of the Aussie Millions.
