WSOP Asia Pacific Announces Schedule For Inaugural Event

Australian poker fans should put the dates in their diary

It's been a long time coming, but the World Series of Poker (WSOP) will finally arrive on Australian soil for the first time ever when it lands in the Crown Melbourne in April.

And the organisers of the event have now unveiled the schedule for the WSOP Asia Pacific tournament, so Aussie poker fans will do well to put the dates in their diary as they prepare to welcome some of the best card players in the world.

Proceedings will kick off on April 4th with Flight A of a No-Limit Hold'em Accumulator event which is scheduled to last for five days, with entrants needing to foot a AU$1,100 buy-in.

But the Main Event is the one that will garner most attention, and that will get underway on April 11th.

With a AU$10,000 buy-in for the event, there are sure to be plenty of players lining up for the chance to become the winner of the first ever WSOP Asia Pacific tournament.ADNFCR-16000716-ID-801523550-ADNFCR
