Australia's very own Julius Colman carried the nation's hopes when he scraped through Day 3 of the Caribbean Adventure Main Event, but his luck ran out on Day 4 as he busted in 45th place for a US$32,000 payday.
Colman arrived at the felt for Day 4 with the smallest stack out of the remaining players, and any dreams of him pulling off a miracle win were dashed as he struggled to accumulate a decent number of chips.
However, given that 987 players entered the event in the Bahamas, Colman will be happy to have made it so far, advancing further than any of his compatriots in pursuit of the title.
It was Dimitar Danchev who went on to win the Main Event, bagging a payday of US$1,859,000 after seeing off the likes of Joel Micka, Jerry Wong and Jonathan Roy at the final table on his way to glory in the Caribbean.
