The Aussie Millions may be kicking off next week, but there's also action taking place elsewhere in the Asia Pacific before the events get underway at the Crown Melbourne.

We're talking about the Macau Poker Cup: Red Dragon tournament, which will be running for ten days between January 11th and 20th.

It is the Grand Waldo Entertainment Complex that will be hosting the proceedings, with plenty of players sure to take to the felt for the wide range of events that are on offer.

As well as a number of satellites taking place, the opening event will attract some early attention with the HK$500,000 (AU$61,421) guarantee.
