GPI Update: Karamilikis And Rossiter Could Soon Be Joined By Lim

Aaron Lim is well place to break into the GPI 300 next year

Jonathan Karamilikis and Jeffrey Rossiter have been representing Australian poker hopes in the Global Poker Index (GPI) 300 in recent weeks, and the good news is that the latest update means they'll continue to do so when 2013 gets underway.

Karamilikis is unmoved and holds onto his spot in 130th, while Rossiter is up five and jumps to 135th.

And while it's been a while since one of their compatriots has joined them in the GPI 300, Aaron Lim's current ranking in 311th - up 18 places on last week - means that he is nicely poised to do so in 2013.

What's more, with Oliver Speidel up 16 spots to 314th, we could well see four Aussie poker stars in the GPI 300 if they hit the ground running at the start of next year.

Whatever happens, fans will be hoping for an Australian victory when the World Series of Poker hits Australian shores for the first time ever in April.ADNFCR-16000716-ID-801514129-ADNFCR
