World Series of Poker set to land in Australia during April

With 2012 almost over, many Australian poker fans will be looking ahead to next year as they wait in anticipation of the events that are set to take place.

But while the likes of the Asian Poker Tour and Asia Pacific Poker Tour will continue as usual, one event that is sure to eclipse all others is the arrival of the World Series of Poker (WSOP) in the region.

The event is scheduled to take place in April, and it will be the first time in the history of the WSOP that it has visited shores in the Asia Pacific.

What's more, proceedings will take place at the Crown Melbourne, meaning that Aussie poker fans will have an opportunity to see some of the biggest and best live poker action on the planet when the tour finally lands.

And with the Aussie Poker Millions favourite also set to take place, 2913 is sure to be a great year for poker in Australia.
