Sam Razavi has been bestowed the honour of being named APT (Asian Poker Tour) Player of the Year.
The title comes on the back of his success in Asia and his latest triumph at the Casino Carnival in Goa, India.
The British pro showed just why he deserved the series' Player of the Year award by claiming a Main Event title, winning the trophy and $15,000, leaving rival Martin Nilsson of Sweden empty-handed.
Razavi's run of success began at the Main Event of the APT Asian Series Cebu at the beginning of the year where he finished second and netted himself a cool $45,000.
The accolades kept rolling in from there. Fast forward to Cambodia where he posted six cashes and secured fifth place in the APT Asian Series Cambodia Main Event.
The Black Belt Poker sponsored pro will be awarded a trophy and $8,000 worth of APT and APT Asian Series buy-ins as a result of his award.
