The final table for the Australia New Zealand Poker Tour (ANZPT) Auckland Main Event has been set, with Jamie Mulligan currently leading the field.
A total of 76 players made their way to the SKYCITY Auckland Casino for Day 2 of the tournament, with Souny Frederic the unlucky player to finish in the bubble position, reports the Poker News website.
Frederic went all-in with Ace-King against Cole Swannack's five-four but he unluckily saw his powerful hand collapse as Swannack hit a straight to see Frederic crash out without a payout.
Hoshy Patel, Angie Fitzgerald, Swannack and Jason Lee were just some of the big names to finish in the money but fail to reach the final nine-man table.
Jamie Mulligan was one player who did not suffer the same fate as he finished a productive day's play with 987,000 in chips.
He will be joined by Geoff Smith, Patrick Healy, Slav Sheynin, Sebastian Martineau, Pravin Harji, Jamie Mulligan, Xiaodong Xia, Monica Eastick and Graeme Putt.
