Karamilikis Continues To Fly The Aussie Flag In The GPI 300

Jonathan Karamilikis still ranked above Jeffrey Rossiter in the Global Poker Index 300

Jonathan Karamilikis continues to be the highest ranked Australian player in the Global Poker Index (GPI) 300, although his position is under threat from Jeffrey Rossiter.

For so long, Karamilikis has been the leading light for Australian poker and he cemented his position as the nation's darling in this week's GPI 300 as he moved up four spots to 103 in the rankings.

However his position as the top poker player in Australia is under threat from Rossiter, who also moved up four places in the standings to lie just five places behind his domestic rival.

The duo could soon be joined by compatriots Aaron Lim and Oliver Speidel, who sit in places 325 and 329 on the rankings.

They have a long way to go if they are to challenge the leaderboard, though, which is still dominated by players from the US.

Dan Smith holds the coveted number one spot, while fellow US star Jason Mercier is sitting comfortably in second spot.ADNFCR-16000716-ID-801494272-ADNFCR
