The World Series of Poker (WSOP) has unveiled its dates for 2013, with the 44th annual instalment of the event set to run for 49 consecutive days between May 29th and July 16th in Las Vegas's Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino.
With around 60 gold bracelet events and tens of thousands of players expected to descend on the city for proceedings, the WSOP continues to be one of the biggest poker tournaments on the planet.
The Main Event itself will run for ten consecutive days between July 7th and 16th, when the final nine players will be decided.
But for Australian poker fans who many not be able to afford the trip to Nevada to catch the action, the good news is that the WSOP tour is visiting the Asia Pacific region for the first time ever next year.
WSOP Asia Pacific will be held at the Crown Melbourne between April 4th and 15th 2013, giving Aussies a great chance to get involved in some WSOP games.
