ACOP Update: 18 Players Left In Warm-Up

Australia's Jeff Rossiter will return to the felt with the second-highest stack

The Main Event in the Asia Pacific Poker Tour (APPT) Asia Championship of Poker (ACOP) may not be set to start until November 7th in Macau, but the HK$5,000,000 (US$645,155) Guarantee Warm-Up has already generated plenty of excitement as the ACOP proceedings unravel.

Indeed, with 358 players having entered the event - including France's Bertrand Grospellier, one of the most recognisable names on the international circuit - there are now only 18 left in the running following the conclusion of Day 2.

And it is Russia's David Martiroysan who will hold the chip lead when the players return to the felt, with Australia's Jeff Rossiter sitting in second and Andrey Shatilov - Martiroysan's compatriot - in third.

But whatever happens in the Warm-Up, it is the Main Event that is sure to generate most attention, carrying a HK$10,000,000 (US$1,290,310) guarantee when the entrants fight it out for the ACOP Macau title in the final leg of APPT Season 6.ADNFCR-16000716-ID-801483321-ADNFCR
