It's been a while since we've seen Shane Warne cutting his way through some of the best cricketers the world has ever seen, but the Aussie hero remains in the public eye thanks to his new focus on poker.
And after ditching spinning and turning for raising and calling, pokerasiapacific.com reports that the former cricketer held the Shane Warne Super Stack over the course of the weekend, although he was unable to leave his mark on the event.
That's because Dean Schneider emerged at the head of a field of 332 players to take the title and the $21,355 prize money to go with it, beating the likes of Tony Hachem on his way to victory.
Josh Foster and Justin Wadsworth came in second and third respectively, while Fred Tschirsch and Jun Wang rounded off the top five as ten players battled it out for glory at the final table.
