The Asia Pacific Poker Tour's (APPT) Asia Championship of Poker (ACOP) is hotting up in Macau, with 358 players entering the ACOP Warm-Up HK$5,000,000 (US$645,155) Guarantee event.
And some of the biggest names in the poker world are among the stars who have taken to the felt for the tournament - including the likes of Bertrand Grospellier, who until recently sat at the top of the Global Poker Index.
But as pokerasiapacific.com reports, the Frenchman failed to make it through to Day 2 of the event, as did Australia's Oliver Speidel.
However, there are still plenty of notable players in the running, namely Canada's Mike Watson who is third in chips following Day 1A and 1B.
What's more, with the ACOP Main Event HK$10,000,000 (US$1,290,310) set to start on November 7th, the action is sure to get even more intense on the final leg of APPT Season 6 in Macau's Grand Waldo Entertainment Complex.
