While the Asia Pacific Poker Tour may be taking place in Macau at the moment as the Asia Championship of Poker plays out, there are still opportunities for Aussies to grab a slice of card action a bit closer to home.
That's because the Adelaide Poker Championship is set to kick off next week, starting on November 6th and running until November 17th.
As pokerasiapacific.com has revealed, there will be a total of seven events as part of the championship, including the popular Jonathan Karamilikis Cup, which carries a $2,200 buy-in.
Meanwhile, the Main Event has a buy-in of $1,500, but there is also a free entry Main Event Satellite set to take place for players who haven't got the funds to go straight in.
Taking place in the Poker Zone at the Adelaide Casino, the championship is sure to attract a host of big names across from across Australia when proceedings get underway.
