The last stop on the current Asia Pacific Poker Tour (APPT) calendar is currently underway in Macau, taking the form of the Asia Championship of Poker (ACOP).
The tournament signals the end of APPT Season 6 and proceedings are set to run until November 11th.
And if the early indications are anything to go by, the ACOP is not going to disappoint, with Raymond Wu having already won the opening event to take a HK$419,800 first prize.
With Wu beating the likes of Great Britain's Iqbal Ahmed and Greece's Iqannis Kontonatsios in the final, it looks like the ACOP has attracted players from all over the world, which is not surprising considering the big money that is up for grabs at the Grand Waldo Entertainment Complex.
As the action starts to hot up, there are sure to be plenty of big names taking to the felt in Macau as Australian poker fans keep their eyes focused on the region.
