Asia Championship Of Poker Set To Kick Off In Macau

Macau gets ready to host the last event in APPT Season 6

Macau regularly draws some of the world's biggest poker players for huge high stakes games and tournaments that offer millions of dollars worth of prizes.

And the region is now preparing to host the Asia Championship of Poker (ACOP) as part of the last stop on the Asia Pacific Poker Tour (APPT) Season 6 calendar.

The ACOP will run from October 26th to November 11th, with a wide variety of satellites and side events taking place in the run up to the Main Event, which will include a guaranteed HKD$10,000,000.

Proceedings are set to get underway at the Grand Waldo Entertainment Complex as players and fans assemble to take a shot at the riches on offer, and many Australian poker enthusiasts will be hoping that some of their compatriots will be at the tables in Macau.

Whatever happens, the event is sure to be a big one with some serious prize money on offer for the winners.ADNFCR-16000716-ID-801476444-ADNFCR
