Australia's own Dean Yuen has emerged victorious from the main event at the 2012 Sydney Champs, bagging himself a $127,133 prize in the process.
Despite hardly going into the final nine with a formidable stack - four players held more chips than Dean when the competitors took their seats at the table - Yuen was able to secure victory, beating David Borg in the last two.
With a total of 337 players entering the tournament, there was an impressive $505,500 up for grabs, and Borg will not be too disappointed with his haul of $80,374.
However, American Stephen Buchanan is likely to see the event as a missed opportunity, as he held the chip lead going into the final, sitting behind an imposing stack of 1,880,000 chips when the day kicked off.
Buchanan eventually finished up in fourth, walking away from the table with prize money of $34,880 for his efforts.
