Joe Hachem may be one of Australia's most prolific poker players, but the star's lack of activity at the world's biggest tables is starting to cost him in the Global Poker Index (GPI).
Despite having previously sat comfortably at a career best 78th in June of last year, Joe has now slipped out of the GPI top 300, and has also plummeted in the Player of the Year (POY) standings.
Indeed, while Joe's presence at the Crown Melbourne events at the beginning of the year - as well as his 12th place finish at the World Poker Tour's LA Poker Classic in February - saw him sitting in 28th in the POY rankings during March, Hachem now finds himself in a lowly 445th place.
Yet considering Joe's long list of achievements includes a win at the World Series of Poker in 2005, it's unlikely he'll be too fazed by his fall in the rankings as he winds down his career.
