ANZPT POY Update: Blight Slips As O'Brien And Ballard Make Top 5

Movement in ANZPT POY top ten as Aston and Anunu hold on to top two places

Anthony Aston still leads the way in the race for the coveted Australian and New Zealand Poker Tour (ANZPT) Player of the Year (POY) title.

Aston is currently more than ten points ahead of closest rival Michael Anunu, who is in second with 115.80 points to the leader's 127.89.

And Didier Guerin is hot on Anunu's heels, with 114.41 points putting him within touching distance of the two leaders.

Yet while the top three have remained unchanged since our last update, there has been movement elsewhere, as Craig Blight and Gordon Huntly have both slipped out of the top five, being replaced by Jason O'Brien and Stewart Ballard.

Elsewhere, Stephen Lindeblan has slipped out of the top ten, with Eric Stadler taking his place.

However, with only 73.50 points to his name, it will take a gigantic turnaround for Stadler to continue his climb and challenge the likes of Aston and Anunu at the top.ADNFCR-16000716-ID-801427966-ADNFCR
