The schedule for the 2013 Aussie Millions has now been released by Melbourne's Crown Casino.
Action at the high-profile event will kick off on January 17th at 6.15 pm and the first game will be the $1,100 No Limit Hold'em game.
According to organisers, the Aussie Millions is a "festival of poker, with 26 separate poker events with buy-ins ranging from $500 to $250,000".
Greg Hawkins, the Crown's chief executive officer, said "As one of the only remaining independent events on the international poker circuit, the Aussie Millions has effectively become one of the top four poker majors and a favourite amongst some of the most renowned players in the world."
The event will get the Australian poker calendar for 2013 up and running ahead of the World Series of Poker (WSOP).
In what Joe Hachem has described as a "dream come true", the WSOP will be heading down under for the first time next year, with the crown casino once again playing host.
