Australian poker star Tony G has been confirmed as one of the contenders for the forthcoming Big One for One Drop event.
The card ace will take to the table for the World Series of Poker (WSOP) tournament in Las Vegas later this month.
Tony will have some stiff competition to land the title as 30 of the 48 places have already been filled, mostly by the top names in global poker.
Bertrand Grospellier, who recently ousted Jason Mercier as the Global Poker Index's highest-ranked pro, will also take part, as will Canadian duo Jonathan Duhamel and Daniel Negreanu.
UK star Sam Trickett is the latest player to confirm his attendance and he will be joined by the likes of Justin Smith, Tom Dwan, Johnny Chan and Erik Seidel.
The Big One for One Drop is one of the WSOP's flagship event and with 48 places and a buy-in of $1 million, some serious cash will be up for grabs.
Indeed, the WSOP recently claimed that 2012 will see it hand out more than $200 million in prize money.
