Australian poker star Joe Hachem has seen his world ranking improve after taking to the table in the Philippines.
The Asian Poker Tour (APT) ambassador recently played in the organisation's Manila Main Event and is due to feature at the Manila Millions Super High Roller tournament later this month.
Being back in action has had a positive impact on the former World Series of Poker winner's current ranking among the world's elite.
Hachem jumped six places on the Global Poker Index (GPI) 300 chart last week.
As such, with 1289.27 points, the Aussie card ace now sits at number 174 on the list.
However, the week was not quite as productive for fellow Australian poker star Daniel Chevalier who moved in the opposite direction.
The card ace dropped two places and now sits in 237th place, with 1143.64 points.
With the Manila Millions just around the corner, Hachem will be looking for a strong performance to boost his ranking and his bank balance as well as the profile of the APT.
