Australian poker star Joe Hachem is marching back up the Global Poker Index (GPI).
The GPI 300 is an accepted measure of a poker pro's form and the chart currently places the poker star at number 166.
While that is by no means the poker pro's greatest achievement, the ranking shows that he jumped an impressive 11 places last week and now sits on 1294.87 points.
Elsewhere on the chart, the power places remained unchanged last week, with US pair Erik Seidel and Jason Mercier holding down the number one and two spots respectively.
Frenchman Bertrand Grospellier remains in third place, followed by Ukrainian card ace Eugene Katchalov, Canadian pro Shawn Buchanan and UK star Sam Trickett.
Hachem recently announced that he has parted ways with PokerStars in a bid to spend more time closer to home.
The card ace has embarked on an ambassadorial role with the Asian Poker Tour and will be highlighting the talents of those playing in the Asia-Pacific region at forthcoming tournaments.
